Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or medical office.
• EPIC applications, including scheduling, registration, billing, order communications, etc.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative (non-clinical) aspects of the patient encounter to ensure an ideal patient experience.
• Collect and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information for each hospital account/encounter.
• Provide same-day admission notification to payers and assist the clinical care team as needed.
• Prepare and support registrations, scheduling, time-of-service collections, and authorizations in a fast-paced environment.
