The Cancer & Hematology Centers are seeking a New Patient Referral Specialist in the United States to support and coordinate the intake and scheduling of new patients. This role collaborates with clinic teams and referring offices to ensure accurate patient charts and timely information flow.

Responsibilities include verifying demographics and insurance, managing provider schedules, and assisting with patient portal enrollment and pre-visit forms.

Competenze

• Education: Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• Specific skills & abilities: Preferred one year experience in an outpatient physician practice or healthcare setting

Mansioni

• Act as a liaison between CHC and referring provider offices/hospital systems to manage intake and scheduling of new patients.
• Maintain clear communication with referring entities throughout the intake process, ensuring timely updates.
• Manage provider schedules to facilitate scheduling of new patients with appropriate sub-specialty providers.
• Communicate schedule changes and new patient details to providers and leaders.
• Finalize patient entry by verifying demographics and insurance information and creating a new chart.
• Complete insurance verification and obtain authorizations when needed, addressing gaps.
• Support patient portal enrollment to enhance value-based care and access to information.
• Coordinate delivery and completion of pre-visit forms.
• Maintain a dynamic wait list for sooner visit times and support quality improvement.
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain role competencies.
