Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years in healthcare or two years in customer service required.
• Proficient PC skills; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Preferred: knowledge of insurance referral processes.
• Preferred: basic computer skills; EHR, Excel, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process referral requests and obtain authorization for medical services/admissions.
• Coordinate admission process and communicate with insurance companies.
• Enter referrals and authorizations into the system and verify eligibility.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support timely patient care.
