Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' healthcare OR two years' customer service experience.
• Proficient PC skills; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Preferred: Knowledge of insurance referral process; knowledge of Medical Terminology; basic computer skills; EHR, Excel, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process referral requests, obtain authorization for medical services and/or admissions, and coordinate admissions as applicable.
• Data entry of referrals and authorizations; verify eligibility and communicate with insurance daily.
• Collaborate with clinical team and medical providers to ensure timely patient care.
