Job summary

Christian Hospital Northwest is hiring a Patient Access Representative II for the Sleep Lab. This on-site, full-time role focuses on hospital registration, scheduling, and rapid insurance verification to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.

The position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge of Medicare guidelines and MPI processes. A health-system environment emphasizes accuracy and compassionate care for patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in hospital registration and scheduling preferred.
• Associate degree preferred for advancement.
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred.
• CHAA certification or willingness to obtain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect demographics.
• Ensure correct MPI selection and accurate patient records for safety and reimbursement.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect applicable patient payments.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to MSP and other regulatory guidelines.
