Job summary

You will interview patients to collect demographic and financial information, verify benefits, explain financial responsibilities, and help manage the flow of patients while mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

• Healthcare office experience preferred.
• Familiar with medical terminology.
• Multitasking and prioritization skills required.
• High School diploma required; BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-admitting, admitting and registration tasks.
• Interview patients to obtain demographics and financial information.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect amounts due.
• Mentor new associates and support orientation.
