Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure/Certification: CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate).
• Experience: Five years healthcare related experience including knowledge of health insurance and applicable laws and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience: Healthcare related patient appointment scheduling.
• Leadership: Two years in leadership role such as Team Lead or similar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Pre-Visit Services staff and oversee scheduling and training.
• Ensure accuracy of appointment scheduling in hospital and physician group Health Information Systems.
• Maintain staff schedules and optimize staffing to meet call volume.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to new staff and resolve staffing issues.
