Pre‑Visit Specialist I provides scheduling, pre‑registration, and revenue cycle support, handling pre‑visit revenue cycle services and general information requested by customers. The role includes scheduling appointments, ensuring payer pre‑authorization, informing patients of pre‑procedure requirements, and supporting new hire and remote hybrid work structure.
The position plays a critical role in supporting the department’s goals through measurable performance indicators and service excellence. It involves managing accounts receivable tasks, resolving claim issues, working with physicians and other stakeholders, and monitoring denial trends.
Meets productivity standards related to quantity and quality of work. Other duties as assigned by the Hospital and Physician Billing Manager or Patient Accounting Director.
