Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1-year patient/customer-facing role.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and Virginia employment requirements.
• Certifications: CHAA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Register patients into the health information system by interviewing patients to gather and process demographic, insurance and visit information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; collect upfront payment and explain financial responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and DN V requirements.
• Enter and update patient records; interact with patients and staff.
• Support orders, scanning, and documentation; assist with bed center processes.
• Demonstrate compassionate customer service aligned with Augusta Way.
