Job summary

Ensemble is seeking a Patient Access & Pre-Access Supervisor to organize and coordinate staff activities, ensure compliant and efficient work, and support the Patient Access Manager in daily operations.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and performance improvement across registration and pre-registration tasks while maintaining high standards of customer service and accuracy in revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate degree or 4 year/ Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1 to 3 Years of experience in a supervisory role in healthcare or business preferred.
• Ability to lead / direct and coach staff to meet performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all registration duties with direct and indirect reporting employees and train staff.
• Provide and review reporting to track department performance on metrics like point of service, wait times, overtime, and productivity.
• Schedule staff including rotations, time off, and call-offs to minimize overtime and maximize productivity.
• Oversee upfront collection process tracking and coaching of staff; set goals and provide corrective action when needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations days, nights and weekends and provide guidance to staff.
• Develop and implement department processes and procedures; conduct audits and continual coaching.
• Serve as a resource for staff and other departments to promote excellent customer service.
• Lead projects related to implementation, tracking, and process changes; report to leadership.
