Qualifications

• Registration/licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirements.
• Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Health Career Association (ExCPT).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in health care, insurance, pharmacy, or medical background.

Responsibilities

• Complete area-specific work following standard processes and policies.
• Serve as an expert with equipment and technology in the specialized area.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of records.
• Assist patients and care team with medication access and follow-up.
