Job summary

Azend Pharma is seeking a Patient Liaison to connect our specialty pharmacy with healthcare providers and patients. You will assist with prescription clarifications, benefits coordination, and access issues while fostering strong relationships with prescribers and insurers.

You will drive patient enrollment and medication access through proactive outreach, excellent service, and collaboration with office staff. This role requires travel and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Health care setting experience preferred, especially specialty pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care standards.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and prior authorization processes.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness and ability to travel between offices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between pharmacy, prescribers, and insurers to ensure access to prescribed medications.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
• Focus on sales/marketing to promote services and secure referrals.
• Utilize sales strategies to expand market presence and awareness.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers and staff.
• Maintain frequent communication with patients, providers, and pharmacies.
• Coordinate with providers and specialty pharmacies to improve turnaround times.
• Manage multiple initiatives and resolve complex cases independently.
• Leverage digital marketing and outreach to promote services and increase engagement.
