Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading Patient Access or front-end revenue cycle operations in a hospital or large health system.
• Knowledge of patient registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance processes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Patient Access operations to ensure accurate registration and insurance capture with regulatory compliance.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify workflow gaps and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
• Ensure onboarding, ongoing education, and regulatory training for staff, including customer service standards (AIDET).
• Collaborate with IT, Revenue Cycle, and HR to support optimized Patient Access workflows (EPIC).
• Supervise Patient Access supervisors, leads, and frontline staff, fostering accountability and service excellence.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and security compliance and adherence to policies and procedures.
