Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in Brooklyn is seeking a Manager of Patient Access Services to oversee daily operations across assigned service areas and lead a team of supervisors, leads, and frontline staff. You will ensure accurate registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, and HIPAA compliance while partnering with IT, Revenue Cycle, and clinical leadership to optimize workflows in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in Patient Access or revenue cycle operations.
• Experience working in a hospital or large health system.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Patient Access operations across assigned service areas.
• Lead, coach, and develop Patient Access supervisors, leads, and frontline staff.
• Monitor performance metrics for productivity, accuracy, and quality with corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure onboarding, education, and regulatory training including customer service standards (AIDET).
• Collaborate with IT, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Clinical leadership to optimize workflows.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and security standards are maintained.
