Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced patient access supervisor to oversee Navicent Medical Center GA frontline operations. You will lead staff, optimize schedules, ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance, and support registrations and financial tasks within a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Patient Access or related roles (e.g., billing, scheduling, or call center).
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and teamwork to support staff and patients.
• Understanding of HIPAA, insurance processes, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of patient service areas to meet department standards and efficiency.
• Educate staff on changes to policies and procedures; provide training and direction.
• Manage staff schedules, breaks, and coverage for optimal patient throughput.
• Assist with financial processes such as point-of-service collections and cash handling.
• Support HR functions including interviewing, onboarding, and staff development.
• Ensure accurate patient registration and HIPAA compliance in all records.
