Job summary

Intuitive Health is seeking a Lead Patient Access Advocate to oversee patient access operations in Jacksonville. This full-time, days role supports registration processes, benefits verification, and scheduling for a 7am–7pm shift.

The candidate will mentor staff, ensure policy compliance, and drive patient experience metrics. Responsibilities include daily reconciliation of cash and payments, staffing coordination, and collaboration with leadership on process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in a medical office setting and in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Familiar with health insurance verification and patient registration systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient Access team daily operations and drive performance metrics.
• Provide feedback on registration processes and staffing to leadership.
• Assist with staffing, report reconciliation, and related duties.
• Maintain friendly, professional demeanor for patients and staff.
• Verify benefits, check patients in/out, and collect payments.
• Create and maintain location Patient Access schedules.
• Train and mentor new Patient Access staff.
• Participate in interviews and onboarding for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and HIPAA rules.
• Reconcile cash, credit card receipts, and deposits daily.
