Responsibilities

• Create and verify initial patient records to prevent duplicates.
• Register patients, collect demographics and insurance info, and collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance coverage and refer to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate appointments and provide clear arrival guidelines.
• Manage EHR queues per department process.
