Job summary

Parrish Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Representative to register patients across Parrish hospitals and off-site locations. You will interview patients to collect demographic, insurance, and clinical information for EMR entry, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and delivering courteous service.

You will collaborate with physicians and departments, handle incoming/outgoing calls, and ensure documents are properly stored per policy. Full-time schedule with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or responsible individuals to obtain necessary information.
• Provide exemplary customer service following HERART guidelines.
• Enter accurate data into the EMR system with attention to detail.
• Complete verification/authorization processes timely and accurately.
• Explain services, pricing, insurance billing, and account payment policies.
