Qualifications

• 2–3 years of benefit investigation and analysis of insurance coverage.
• 2–3 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers on plan requirements.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; grammar matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cases move through the process per company standards and procedures.
• Conduct benefit investigations by contacting payers to verify insurance benefits.
• Verify patient benefits and document coverage, cost share, and options.
• Identify coverage restrictions and ways to expedite access.
• Document and initiate prior authorization processes and appeals.
• Report reimbursement trends or delays to management.
• Act as liaison for field representatives, providers, and patients.
