Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business Management or equivalent with 3 years experience in healthcare supervisory/ office setting.
• 3 years Healthcare insurance, patient access or billing with supervisory or office management experience.
• CHAA - Certified Healthcare Access Associate required within 6 months of hire; CHAM - Certified Healthcare Access Manager preferred within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development: recruits, hires, trains PAS staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Operations Management: oversees workflows, staffing, schedules, and quality audits to ensure KPI targets.
• Customer Service and Patient Experience: ensures service standards and timely issue resolution.
• Compliance and Financial Performance: ensures HIPAA compliance, payer rules, and up-front collections.
• Technology and Process Improvement: maintains PAS applications, analyzes data, and promotes standardization.
• Collaboration and Communication: liaises with other departments and leadership.
