UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring for a Full-Time Customer Access role. The position coordinates with clinical partners, verifies insurance, registers patients, and supports financial counseling. On-site role with day shifts and on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in customer service, revenue cycle experience, and strong communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and CHAA/CRCR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mature judgement and professional communication.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages relationships with clinical partners to ensure open communication between departments.
• Provides timely coverage for assigned areas to support patient services.
• Obtains pre-authorizations and verifies insurance before appointments.
• Registers patients and ensures accurate demographic and financial information.
• Documents conversations with patients and insurers in the system.
