Job summary

North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead front desk operations, screen visitors, and support admission processes. You will coordinate with Intake, Nursing, and Business Office to ensure smooth patient flow and timely admissions across multiple North Star facilities.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of administrative experience with leadership, strong communication skills, and a dedication to patient-centered service in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school Graduate/GED.
• Experience: 2–4 years in administrative work with leadership experience preferred.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient access workflows and front desk operations.
• Greet and screen visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Process admission paperwork and collect patient information.
• Coordinate communication between intake, nursing, business office and departments.
• Oversee schedules for patient access coordinators and monitor cash/credit activity.
