Job summary

The position requires 2+ years of office experience, typing speed, and strong customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; all staff contribute to respectful patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of office experience.
• Typing 40 wpm and handling high volume telephones.
• Must multitask and maintain calm demeanor.
• Knowledge of business systems and office procedures helpful.

Responsibilities

• Heavy telephone intake and patient registration.
• Book appointments and obtain client data.
• Verify authorizations and insurance coverage.
• Research and follow up on outstanding accounts to expedite collections.
• Process Prior Approval forms and track their status.
• Balance cash drawer daily and collect co-payments.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Train new personnel as needed.
