Job summary

Mount Carmel New Albany is seeking a part-time Registration & Analytics professional to support outpatient and inpatient registration and insurance verification. You will assist with collecting payments, verify benefits, and provide information to patients and offices in a timely, courteous manner.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and performance improvement, with responsibilities spanning research, synthesis of data, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.
• Entry level position. Minimum one (1) year customer service experience. Patient Access experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient focused customer service in outpatient & inpatient registration & insurance verification.
• Performs registration & insurance verification functions; collects patient financial liability payments & ensures requirements including Medicare etc.
• Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.
• Researches, collects & analyzes information; identifies opportunities, develops solutions, and leads through resolution.
• Distributes analytical reports and supports performance improvement activities.
• Utilizes multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports & develop educational materials.
