Trinity Health’s Mount Carmel New Albany location is seeking a part-time patient access and analytics specialist. You will perform outpatient and inpatient registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance while supporting patient experience and accurate financial interactions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and process improvement, requiring strong customer service and familiarity with healthcare policies. On-site role with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience; patient access experience preferred.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one year of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-focused customer service and handles outpatient/inpatient registration and insurance verification.
• Performs patient financial clearance and collects payments as needed.
• Researches, collects and analyzes information; identifies opportunities and leads through resolution.
• Generates and distributes analytical reports; supports performance improvement initiatives.
• Synthesizes data to support leadership decision making and communicates trends with actionable options.
