Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register patients for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services with accurate data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorization requirements for scheduled services.
• Explain financial obligations and payment options to patients.
• Collect payments, issue receipts and balance cash drawers daily.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and departments to facilitate admissions.
• Document interactions and update electronic medical records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist with rescheduling and managing appointments.
