Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (preferred).
• 1+ year experience in healthcare registration, scheduling, or patient access preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance verification preferred.

• Register patients for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services with accurate info.
• Verify insurance benefits and authorization requirements.
• Explain financial obligations, including co-pays and deductibles.
• Collect payments, issue receipts, balance cash drawers daily.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate admissions and appointments.
• Provide forms and educate patients and families.
• Respond to inquiries about registration, insurance, and billing.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and update EMRs.
• Document patient interactions in the EMR.
• Assist with rescheduling and manage appointments as needed.
