Prisma Health is seeking an Admissions/Financial Counselor role at the Patewood Outpt Ctr/Med Offices. You will interview patients to collect demographic and financial information, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate pre-authorizations as needed.

You will also handle payments, set up financial arrangements, and assist with related business office tasks in a patient-centered environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance and/or Customer Service experience.
• Basic computer and data entry skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients to collect demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance and initiate pre-authorization when required.
• Collect payments and issue receipts, and manage daily deposits.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items as required.
