Qualifications

• Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complete and accurate patient registration, pre-certification, charge capture and accurately coding diagnoses.
• Post payments and balance with day end computer reports; handle posting and billing processes.
• Greet patients and visitors; verify insurance information; manage appointments and scheduling.
• Assist in outpatient coding and error resolution; maintain patient records and confidential information.
