Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in Registration, Billing, or Managed Care work.
• Knowledge of Hospital Medical Staff rules and infection control policies.
• Proficient with Epic, Passport, OnBase, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to verify demographics and financial information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient accounts and maximize reimbursement while ensuring accurate demographic data.
• Notify staff about critical patient conditions and coordinate with departments.
• Obtain signatures and gather insurance information for revenue cycle docs.
• Interview patients to collect and verify demographic and financial data; ensure data integrity.
• Provide training and participate in department meetings.
