Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO seeks a patient financial navigator who performs Medicare compliance reviews and helps patients understand financial responsibilities. You will coordinate with utilization management, verify insurance benefits, and assist with pre-authorizations to ensure smooth care delivery.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication in English/Spanish, and experience in a healthcare revenue cycle.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
Experience in customer service or healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
Ability to follow complex instructions and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues ABNs as needed.
Creates accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collects payments.
Coordinates with utilization management for pre-authorization issues and provides logistical details to patients.
Contacts insurance companies to verify eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations.
Registers patients for services ensuring accuracy and minimizing duplicate records.
