Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in North Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to welcome patients, manage registrations and support medical staff. The role includes handling phones, check-in/out, and patient payments in a busy urgent care setting.

Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour week with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN per diem positions are also available, with benefits and a patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with basic computer software and EMR systems.
• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them through registration processes.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documents and handle daily callbacks.
• Check in/out patients, assist clinical staff and close the office at shift end.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments and post balances.
• Maintain a neat, professional work environment and adhere to health and safety procedures.
