Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our Patient Access team in Kentucky. You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and route calls to the appropriate department. This 40-hour, full-time role requires accuracy and courteous service in a busy healthcare setting.

Experience in medical offices is preferred. You will support scheduling, registrations, and daily office tasks while upholding privacy policies and patient rights.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-10/CPT codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Medical office/clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones promptly and courteously across multiple lines.
• Schedule and cancel appointments and arrange outpatient tests.
• Verify demographics and insurance, collect co-payments and balances.
• Greet patients professionally and explain privacy policies.
• Process registrations and ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate check-in/out data.
