Aspire Indiana Health is hiring a Patient Access Specialist in Anderson, Indiana to be the first impression for patients and providers. You will help manage the patient flow from check-in to checkout and ensure records are complete and correct for billing, clinical, and regulatory purposes.

The role requires a high school diploma and healthcare/front office experience; ASL is a plus, as are EHR skills and basic medical terminology knowledge. We offer a welcoming nonprofit health system workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of healthcare/front office experience is preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Google Suite and computer use.
• Previous insurance billing experience is preferred.
• EHR experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred.
• ASL communication ability is a plus.

• Coordinate patient flow from check-in to check-out to support a positive patient experience.
• Ensure patient records are complete and accurate for financial, clinical, and regulatory purposes.
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and other customers.
