Job summary

Volunteers of America, Utah seeks a Client Access Representative to be the first contact for clients, collect demographics, insurance information, and copays, and support scheduling and paperwork for program enrollment in a fast-paced office.

You will collaborate with therapists, handle triage information, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in crisis situations, with a focus on compassionate client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in receptionist, administrative, or customer service roles (healthcare, behavioral health, or social services preferred).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct clients professionally.
• Verify client demographics and insurance information.
• Check-in clients for groups and sessions; assist day treatment as needed.
• Maintain group rosters and data requirements.
• Assist therapists with scheduling and documentation.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Assist with Medicaid eligibility verification and authorizations.
• Monitor client balances and assist with collections.
