Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with billing, financial screening, insurance verification, collections, and/or customer service required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Patient registration and/or medical front desk experience.
• Insurance verification, eligibility, and/or POS collections experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient access and financial counseling to secure services.
• Verify demographic and insurance information for services.
• Screen patients for financial responsibility and discuss payment options.
• Identify potential reimbursement sources and assist with financial assistance programs.
• Collect deposits and coordinate referrals/prior authorizations.
• Provide information to patients and care teams to improve satisfaction and reimbursement.
• Maintain knowledge of ABN and PPA forms and participate in training.
