LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Access Associate – Financial Clearance to guide patients through the financial aspects of care. You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, register patients, and explain financial responsibilities with empathy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate registrations.
• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and demographics.
• Create and update patient accounts accurately.
• Collect and scan required documentation (IDs, insurance cards, authorizations).
• Explain copays, balances, estimates, and financial responsibility.
• Collect point-of-service payments and assist with financial assistance as needed.
• Resolve registration and work queue errors promptly.
• Communicate updates clearly with providers and internal teams.
