• Excellent analytical, organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows policy for financial screening, referrals, and patient cost sharing.
• Verifies active insurance coverage and validity of benefits for services.
• Obtains authorization and documents financial clearance notes.
• Assists patients with financial assistance resources and questions.
• Coordinates with Utilization Management, Billing, and Registration teams.
• Maintains timely communications to secure payor requirements for approvals.
