Responsibilities

• Accurately completes a quality registration in the HIS system.
• Verifies insurance benefits and financial clearance for all payors at each encounter.
• Coordinates prior authorizations with the Centralized Referral Center.
• Researches and resolves registration issues for demographic, clinical, and insurance data.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and hospital policies.
• Processes patient payments and maintains cash drawer.
