Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient and staff experience at our clinics.

The role involves greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, collecting payments, and coordinating appointments for casts, measures and prosthetic care plans. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and prior front office or medical reception experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in front desk or reception roles is preferred.
• Be able to use a computer and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at arrival; answer inquiries at the front desk.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle registrations.
• Collect patient payments (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and prosthetic care deliveries.
• Support clinic services and coordinate with RCM to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for patients.
