Job summary

CareMetx is seeking a Patient Services Representative to assist patients, providers and caregivers with enrollment activities and program inquiries, coordinating access to therapies through the patient’s healthcare provider.

The role emphasizes timely, accurate communication, documentation, and adherence to program policy, with opportunities to work across departments to resolve issues and support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years in customer service or related healthcare support.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries and determine program eligibility (Copay, Patient Assistance, Medicaid).
• Assist with enrollment, eligibility verification, and prior authorization workflows.
• Coordinate order processing and follow up on missing information.
• Triages pharmacy-related questions and reports adverse events as directed.
• Escalate issues and communicate with patients, providers, and internal teams.
• Document interactions and ensure compliance with program policies.
• Monitor queue workloads and adhere to standard operating procedures.
