Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assembles all data and documents required for complete patient registration.
• Enters patient demographic information and checks eligibility/authorization.
• Assesses patient financial responsibility and collects co-pays/deductibles.
• Explains hospital payment policies to patients and families.
• Obtains funding information and informs about funding resources.
• Uses payer resources to determine patient eligibility and facilitate charity care.
