Baptist Health Medical Group in Floyds Knobs, IN is seeking a full-time Patient Access Coordinator. The role focuses on front desk duties, patient check-in, insurance verification, and courteous customer service to maintain smooth clinic operations.

You will register patients, verify benefits, and assist with billing questions in a fast-paced environment. This position operates on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, in a family-focused health system.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registration experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Registers patient in a timely and accurate manner, obtaining demographics and accurate insurance information.
• Directs patients, answers the phone, and handles inquiries.
• Ensures eligibility, Medicare compliance and benefits are properly verified prior to visit.
• Demonstrates skill with access software systems.
• Establishes patient portion due estimates and performs point of service collections.
• Pre-registers patients and discusses benefits with patients.
• Exhibits excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Performs other related duties to maintain service quality.
• Maintains patient visit information in the system and updates as requested.
• Complies with state and federal access services regulations.
