Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to provide patient-centered service at the front desk. You will greet patients and visitors, collect demographic and financial data to complete registrations accurately, and explain hospital policies and services.

This part-time weekend-evening role (0.4 FTE; Sat-Sun 12:00 - 8:30 PM) offers a supportive team, comprehensive benefits, and perks. Previous frontline medical office or hospital customer service is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Formal training in medical terminology, hospital finance and customer relations a plus.
• Previous frontline medical office, hospital or business experience involving direct customer service will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and orient patients and visitors to the hospital, ensuring exemplar customer service.
• Complete patient registration with complete demographic and financial data accurately and promptly.
• Collects appropriate monies, obtains signatures and informs patients of hospital policies and services.

Position purpose

Responsible for exemplary customer service in greeting and orientation of patients and visitors to the hospital. Interviews the patient for complete demographic and financial data to complete the registration process accurately, efficiently and promptly. Collects appropriate monies, obtains appropriate signatures, notifies patients/guests of hospital regulations, policies and services.

Part Time - Weekend Evening Shifts

0.4 FTE - 8 hour shifts

(32 hours per pay period)

Saturday & Sunday 12:00 - 8:30 PM
