Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Patient Access representative to support scheduling, preregistration, financial clearance, and authorization processes. The role focuses on accurately verifying insurance, collecting patient financial responsibility, and ensuring correct data for billing.

Minimum high school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience/training.
1 year of related experience preferred in medical, financial services or customer service.
Experience operating a PC and using software applications; familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verifications is preferred.

Responsabilidades

Performs scheduling, preregistration, financial clearance, and authorization/referral validation.
Obtains limited clinical data as needed for service.
Verifies insurance information and determines patient financial responsibility.
Communicates with physicians, payors, and patients to resolve authorization or referral issues.
Maintains data accuracy for timely bill submission and post-payment reconciliation.
