Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred (healthcare a plus).
• Strong communication, customer service, and data-entry accuracy skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and use multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate outpatient and/or inpatient registration with demographics, insurance, and financial information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, pre-certifications, referrals, and Medicare necessity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements.
• Provide a welcoming, patient-centered experience for patients and families.
• Manage patient volumes, inquiries, and service needs with professionalism.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and document information accurately.
• Ensure patients meet hospital and payer financial requirements prior to service.
• Adhere to HIPAA and Trinity Health policies; support performance improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical departments and physician offices to resolve issues.
