The Patient Access Specialist will be the front-line liaison for patients, payers and clinical teams, ensuring accurate demographics, insurance verification and timely billing while maintaining outstanding customer service at the front desk.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of patient registration and insurance verification experience preferred.
Fluency in English; Spanish required in the El Paso Market (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between patient, payers and hospital teams to facilitate billing and data collection.
Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
Enter complete demographic information to support revenue cycle processing.
Maximize collections at the time of service in a customer-friendly manner.
Maintain and file registration, medical records and related documents.
