Bedford Commons OBGYN seeks a compassionate Patient Access Representative for full-time front desk work in New Hampshire. You will greet patients, check in, schedule appointments, handle calls, collect co-pays, and verify demographics while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients in a warm, professional manner.
• Explain procedures and registration requirements to patients.
• Schedule appointments in person and by phone using an electronic scheduling system.
• Manage high-volume patient call queues professionally.
• Collect co-pays and process transactions accurately.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Navigate multiple computer systems and software platforms.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Support a team-based approach to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain regular attendance as per policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
