Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for KYANA UC locations to greet patients, register them, schedule appointments and verify insurance details. You will collect co-pays, relay messages to providers, and support front-office tasks such as typing correspondence, sorting mail, handling faxes, and restocking supplies.

High school diploma required; medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills required.
• Medical terminology skills preferred.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make patient appointments and reminder calls.
• Greet and register patients and verify demographics/insurance.
• Collect co-pays and other payments and prepare deposits.
• Relay messages to and from providers and log them accurately.
• Provide clerical support: typing, mail, faxes, supplies.
