Patient Access Coordinators (PAC) are the gateway to care for our applicants to become patients with one-call resolution. PACs will answer calls live, conducting a high-level assessment to determine clinical appropriateness for our facilities and verify benefits. They will collaborate with various roles within the organization to resolve caller needs on the first call and set up appointments for clinical assessments when appropriate. Customer service and sales skills, along with the ability to multi-task, are essential.
This role requires up to six weeks of on-site training at either The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, or at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Center City, MN. Training hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Employees must demonstrate proficiency before starting remote work, which depends on ongoing job performance measured by attendance, punctuality, job metrics, and call monitoring.
